If days were body parts, then Friday was a hemorrhoid. Not lethal, but extremely annoying.
And it took everything I had to stop eating comfort food to write it all down, but WIAD, I did.
Thank you.
Since we’re halfway through the month I thought I’d bring you up to date on what this little exercise is accomplishing. No terribly much, as it turns out, other than the usual character-strengthening benefits of doing something that I don’t particularly want to do but probably should, and actually doing what I’m telling you I’m doing, which is something you can’t see but I can and that’s the definition of character in the first place.
It also is taking the Avoidance and Can’t Finish Crap monkeys off my back, which is weight I can do without.
So thank you for that, too.
What the heck is she doing now?

It’s a work in progress isn’t it. It’s been a slow process and I have been hitting the gym 5-6 days a week and leaving the place with wet sweaty hair which is a marker in how well I actually worked out. My trainer wants me to write everything down and it is tough when I am already at the gym for at least an hour to hour in a half per day. I do try to limit meal intake to 300 calories with a couple good snacks like a quest protein bar or peanuts or almonds. My downfall is I have a few to many restaurants I like! I been doing this since May and down 25 pounds but when I lost weight the first time around back in 2000, I did no exercise and it seemed to go down faster. Course I did not have thyroid issues then. I am more lenient with what I eat, but I do feel this is a much healthier way. I know if I wrote things down and kept better track, it may come off quicker like a hot knife thru butter. Easier said than done!
Everything was easier in 2000. And I didn’t write anything down for beans. Now I’m just trying to show some discipline for longer than thirty seconds at a time.
