Note: on this day, many years ago, I started my first job out of college. So it’s fitting that my random moment of the day found me here.

This is what I see while I’m working. I’ve set up my desk for standing, and have gotten myself to the point where I stand for about six hours out of the day.

The view across the intersection is a shopping center in Scottsdale. You can’t see it, but directly across the street there’s a resort.

I’m not a big fan of overhead fluorescent lights, so I have three desk lamps around my office. I also have a Keurig, thanks to my thoughtful husband, so I never have to be without coffee again.

What the heck is she doing now?
