The closest thing I’ll ever get to a cruise.
On one of our destination Thanksgiving holidays, we ventured to San Diego and spent several days on the beach and ghost hunting and touring the Midway, an aircraft carrier museum in the harbor.
Observations:
- it was a great quads workout, with all the ladders and steep stairs that you have to climb to tour the ship.
- it was educational, seeing everything entailed in running a ship that size.
- the docents running the tours reminded me so much of my dad, which is no surprise, given how they all served in the same war.
- the oldest Son, Interrupted’s hair is an unbelievable color.
- the youngest Kid, Interrupted spent an entire year giving everything the bunny ears, including the ornamental life buoy on the Midway.
What the heck is she doing now?
