This is the very first Interrupted Christmas tree, from 1994. Around that tree we began one of our richest holiday traditions (really making the kids work for their presents).

Parking under that tree is now an invitation to the closest car wash, and its roots are bringing up that flagstone. And you can see it, if not from the international space station, but from our bedroom window:
