To get these pictures, I’m just reaching into drawers and boxes and pulling handfuls of pictures out. I’ve clearly found the Disneyland Layer from the Newlywed Epoch.

Here’s some backstory to go along with your picture.

This trip to Disneyland was a huge success. The girls flew in an airplane for the first time, thanks to the generosity of my then-co-workers at America West Airlines. (They gave me unused flight benefits so we could get over to Los Angeles and back in a weekend.)

As was mentioned before, Abby was absolutely bonkers over Beauty and the Beast, so when Belle personally brought her a birthday cake, Abby was over the moon.

The morning after we got back to town, I woke the next morning to see two little brown eyes staring two inches away from my own.

Abby giggled right in my face. “Goofy tickled me!”

And then she ran.
