Somewhere in here (roundabout Thursday), we got the new bed, and I really, really, really like it.

I also really like the part where I built a database so I can graph my sleep quality using the Fitbit. I took the gross minutes sleeping since the beginning of the year (and sometimes, it’s really gross how little sleep I’ve been getting, let me tell you internetz) and then took the gross minutes Fitbit says I’ve been restless or awake, and charted the result.

sleep chart

So this is the percent of each sleep cycle I spend not sleeping, either restless or awake, since January 1. We got the bed at the tail end of this chart, on February 18th. I wasn’t feeling well on the 19th and 20th, so that explains the sharp uptick. I’ll keep updating this to see if the bed is really as good as I think it is.

What the chart doesn’t show is how happy I am to be able to have measurable data to graph.

Nerd.

What the heck is she doing now?
