The cool thing about visiting Indianapolis in January (haha! See what I did there? Cool?) is that if you’re at the convention center, which I am, you never have to set foot outside, which I have not.
Well, not exactly. I was outside for a total of maybe three minutes as I marched to our bus that whisked us to our hotel from the airport, and as I retrieved my bag to walk into the hotel. I anticipate another three minutes outdoors when I leave Wednesday.
Brrrr.
I have not worn my coat since I arrived at the hotel.
I have walked a lot. At or around 10,000 steps every day, with yesterday hitting the top at 14,000 steps.
And, I wrote it all down. I’m squabbling with my Fitbit app right now, though. It has a nifty feature in which you enter all your food and the calories, and it is measuring your activity and tells you whether you’re in below, on target, or over target in food consumption relative to your goals.
I carefully entered everything last night and it said I was in the yellow (eating very little, by about 500 calories). I entered one more item for 150 calories and it said I was 700 calories over target. I don’t think that’s right.
But the Fitbit is keeping track of my activity so it tracked the calories I spent fighting with it.
What the heck is she doing now?
