When the second Daughter, Interrupted was around three years of age or so, she would inquire about when her favorite show would be on TV or when we were leaving for a fun destination. If the answer was anything but “Right now!” her response was to put her hands on her hips and exclaim, “BUT THAT WILL BE FOY-EVER!”
This coming Saturday morning I have to get on a plane right around 9 am or so and if I were any busier right now I’d be in a blender and unable to type, so I will be succinct: success was mine yesterday. I wrote everything down.
Observations:
This isn’t about what or how much I’m eating. It’s about discipline. Writing down everything and writing here every day. I can see the frayed edges developing here.
Last night before I turned off the light I had to enter in dinner and dessert. Ideally, I’d be doing that before or as I was eating.
When I titled the piece this morning and noted that I was on day 6, my first thought was “THIS IS TAKING FOY-EVER!”
I’m glad I made a commitment to all four of you, because my Fitbit app would be very lonely right about now.
What the heck is she doing now?
