Today was not a bad day, at all.

– I got a brisk walk in, and met all my health goals for the day.

– I managed to shake off what could have been a cranky mood.

– I made the right decision to abandon the westbound I-10 on my way into the office and head up the 101 to get to work. The only drawback is that I missed a first-hand glimpse of the Pavement Alfredo (the leftovers from where the macaroni hauler crashed and burned earlier this morning, causing traffic to melt).

Not too shabby. The Besst thing about today was that it was a normal ol’ day. Someday those might be in short supply, and I’ll long for a day that doesn’t do anything more than wind up on the couch, hammering away at my keyboard with a somnolent basset hound lying contentedly next to me.

What is the Besst project?

And why is it called Besst?
