This week has been a roller coaster at best. A roller coaster that also managed to run through a few First World water features:
Monday: I wake up to find that there is water all over my laundry room. Dad, Interrupted makes it better (as he always does) by arranging with the appliance people to fix their installation mistake and also gets more plumbing repairs done to avert more flooding.
Tuesday: I wake up to find that standing water in the kitchen. Further investigation suggests a one-time blockage in the dishwasher.
Thursday: This one’s a twofer. I start the day by plunging out the upstairs toilet. Find out in the afternoon that the waterfall in the pool doesn’t work.
Other than that, just a roller coaster at home and at work. The Besst things have all been things like Dad, Interrupted making everything better (as he always does) and new closet doors in my bedroom.
Mmmmmm….closet doors.
