Sunday, I was tired and getting ready to go on a business trip. But I still had time to go see the ‘rents. I also re-acquainted myself with one of my favorite paintings: Spring Flowers (In the Conservatory) by Julius LeBlanc Stewart. It hangs in the Phoenix Art Museum. I could look at that forever.
Monday, I flew four hours to Charlotte to get ready for a meeting and had an awesome dinner with my coworkers.
Tuesday, I was part of a very productive meeting with those very same coworkers. I also won a dollar bet (which is bigger than it sounds…just check the dollar bill taped to my office door).
Wednesday Bonus Besst: I got seven hours of sleep last night. After four increasingly-agonizing hours yesterday in coach next to a person with no boundaries, I needed it.
I liked it so much I’m going to go do it again, right now.
