The gang at Work, Uninterrupted (see what I did there) has spent the better of three solid years doing one or more of these things:

– laboring mightily to make a deadline (paradoxically called ‘go live’ dates)

– creating complicated models in Microsoft Access on a tight schedule

– testingtestingtesting to ensure that established models are working well and researching payee issues

Yesterday, I looked up from the pile on my desk and realized that for a (very) brief moment in time, we are maintaining. We’re lovingly polishing the car and taking it to a smiling mechanic for regularly-scheduled oil changes.

This will change, of course. It does on a regularly-scheduled basis. But for just one moment…aaaaaah.

What is the Besst project?
