It’s only 10:30 in the morning here in sunny Orlando, and I have already learned several new things, a feat I wasn’t sure was possible at my age:

– your magnetized iPad cover is really handy because your credit card style room key sticks to it and you won’t lose it as you walk to and from the fitness center. Of course, after sticking to your magnetized iPad cover it won’t do useful things like open your room door, and then you have to do The Walk of Stupid down to the front desk where you have to show them your iPad contents to find a picture of yourself so they know they’re not giving your room key to a thief and so all that handy sticking utility is kind of shot.

– reading in your hotel room is a great way to pass the time. Free wi-if from the conference sponsors is awesome. Reading two-sentence horror stories before you go to bed is not.
