So, the other day I presented a mystery: to wit, which Uncle Charlie is the one Dad remembered from his childhood?

Houston, we have an answer. Dad was able to view the picture of Charles Wilhelm (his grandfather’s brother in law), not to be confused with Charles Wilhelm Stocking (his father’s brother), and determine that he knew Mr. Wilhelm as Uncle Charlie, not Mr. Stocking.

This makes sense, based on stories Dad’s told me about his childhood. I love it when I figure stuff out.
