Friday was full of Bessts:

– had dinner with my lovely daughters, with a surprise helping of daughter’s boyfriend!

Wait, that came out wrong. Daughter’s boyfriend was a bonus course!

No, that doesn’t work either. Try again.

We really like Tim. Tim showed up and it was a welcome surprise for me.

– Came home from dinner to find that we had a surprise helping of son’s girlfriend!

Nope, that doesn’t work either.

Son’s girlfriend was visiting. We really like Marti, too. She watches Voyager with us and makes snarky/admiring comments with us, among other things.

– I tried Red Velvet wine for the first time. I’m not a huge wine drinker, and even less of a red wine drinker, but now I could be. That was good stuff.

– Sons both made me laugh extremely hard. And it wasn’t just the wine talking.

And that came out right.
