Going into it, today had nothing going for it:

– up until 2:30 am babysitting a database

– up at 5:30 am so I could fly to the ice planet of Hoth

– missing my youngest son’s Eagle project

But today was rescued from itself by…

– I was randomly selected for TSA pre check, which had me missing long lines at the airport

– a coworker had me board the plane at the same time as her, so I could get priority 1 boarding

– my Christmas present (Bose noise cancelling headphones) helped me watch a movie and enjoy the flight.

I’ll take it.
