I’ll wait. I hope you get better results than I did, because I only got this lousy link, and I don’t understand why. This is the kind of thing that needs to be shouted from the rooftops, because it’s so unusual these days, and that is a freaking shame.
If you’re link-phobic, here’s the text of the link from Orlando’s Real Talk:
by Laura Noland
PASCO COUNTY, FLA. —
Beth Tilack’s son attends Pasco Middle School and came home with a C and D grade, as well as A’s on his report card.
Tilack said she thought her son needed to work harder in school, but then she saw not only did the principal write “good job” on the report card, her son also made the honor roll.
Tilack thought it was a mistake, but it wasn’t.
The Pasco County School District’s honor roll is determined by a student’s grade point average, not by the amount of actual A and B letter grades they receive.
Tilack complained to the school Superintendent, and he agreed there needs to be some changes to the honor roll policy.
The Superintendent said he hopes to change the policy so that only students with all A’s or A’s and B’s are added to the honor roll by next year.

Beth Tilack, you’re my hero.
