Despite my vow to start living a more interesting life, I was not able to do anything more interesting (i.e. more readable) yesterday.

However, that does not mean yesterday was without its high points:

– traffic into work was awesome! The next best thing to having MLK day off is not having to mess with stupid rush hour.

– my boss is in town. Among other things, he was here to deliver performance appraisals. The fact that this has made the Besst List is ’nuff said.

– made the most awesome corned beef hash for dinner in the crockpot. Cole did what he frequently/almost always does: takes what I started and then finishes it off so it can be served.

That last one (having a child who gets dinner ready) is so awesome it may win Besst of the Year. (You knew I’d be doing that come next December, right?) Srsly: I come home, he bids me to sit on the couch, he gets me a cold one, and I wait for dinner to be served.
