This day, of all days, is the kind of day that is the reason I am doing this exercise.
The Best Thing? That’s easy. I asked my best customer for feedback, and he said my team was ‘fantastic.’ That’s especially important after the last year, where so much was up in the air.
If I hadn’t had this exercise to keep me focused, I would have easily lost that wonderful moment in the malaise of the evening, where it appeared my task was to identify the Worst of Bess’ Life. A malaise I am trying to shake even as I type.
So it’s off to find the Best Thing about the 16th.

Ah yes, the malaise. We’re glad you enjoyed good feedback at work. Sorry your evening didn’t keep up.
